About
EmberPin started as a group chat where a handful of us swapped notes about the games clogging our phones. At some point the notes got too long for a chat, so we turned them into a proper site. Nothing fancy — just people who care about how a game runs on real hardware.,We pick games by playing them for at least a few evenings, not one quick round. If a title chews through battery, stutters on older phones, or hides its best mode behind a wall of menus, we say so. We also flag the small stuff: readable text, sensible defaults, whether the controls make sense without a tutorial.,Genre matters to us. A racer, a card game, and a slow adventure all deserve to be judged on their own terms, so we don't rank them against each other. Instead we describe what each one is trying to do and how well it pulls it off.,No sponsors decide our scores. When we get something wrong, we update the page and note the change. That's the whole promise.
